Things are moving apace behind the scenes at Sittingbourne FC.
We are happy to announce that

Admission Prices for season 2019-20.
Following a committee meeting it has been decided that individual adult
entry will be increased by £1 to £10. This brings us into line with most
clubs at our level and follows a period of a number of years where we
have held prices. There is no change to concession or season ticket
prices.

Congratulations to Chris Webber for winning the goal of the season with 29% of
the vote. 2nd was Harrison Hatfull with 21% of the vote, 3rd was......Chris
Webber! and Liam Middleton with 15% of the vote, Joint 5th were Henry Woods and
Timmie Babbington, and 7th was Ian Jackson.

Music Quiz.
Thanks to Peter Finch for hosting the music quiz on
Friday Night. The event raised £210 for the club. Thanks also to all those who

Ladies first team who have won their league, the South East Counties Womens

Bostik League Charity. Thank you to all those who donated to the Bostik League
Save The Childrens Fund UK Easter charity on Saturday. A sum of £89.65 has today been
transferred to the charity.

Ground grading. We have just completed
our latest ground grading and we are pleased to say, that subject to a few small
improvements which will be completed shortly, we have been successfull.
The new dressing rooms are now
complete and should be in operation for Saturday's game. Its been a
tremendous achievement by Greg McHardy and his team and we thank them most warmly for
all of their hard work.
Player news. Ben Fitchett has signed for Margate. We thank him for his services
and wish him well with the seasiders. We had an agreement with Margate to play
Ben and we thank them too for loaning him to us. On the plus side Henry Woods
has now signed to play with us for the rest of the season.

The dressing rooms refurbishment is going well. The completed dressing rooms will meet the new FA regulations on dressing room sizes. Also we are very greatful to Sittingbourne based Heras for supplying us free of charge a number of Heras panels and gates.

Congratulations to Tom Loyne's for making his 150th appearance for the club - Ken Medwyn's Photograph shows Chairman Maurice Dunk presenting Tom with a shirt commemorating the landmark which was achieved a couple of matches ago.
Twinning Update. A great night was had by all when Sittingbourne FC hosted supporters of Danish club Fremad Amager.
Sittingbourne FC are Twinned With the supporters club and both sets of fans enjoyed great sets from Surrey based Indi Rockers Left Of The Dial and Marvellous Mo And The Back Line Ferrets. Player Update: Remell Davis - Forward. Signed from Ramsgate. Played briefly for us two seasons ago. Also played for Sheppey United and Canterbury City.
Jack Morrell - Defender. On work experience from Gillingham FC
Roman Campbell - Highly thought of striker with Gillingham FC. Also on work experience,
Joshua Spencer - signed from Herne Bay. Played for the Dover Athletic academy team.

Arban Muskaj- Played for the Albanian Under 21 side. Just come to England from Greece where he played for
Souli Paramythia, a Greek Division 2 side. Best position is midfield can also play as a defender .
Billy Lewins - Signed from Hythe Town Has also played for Margate this season
Liam Middleton - A striker from Canterbury City
Sonia Crayford. We are sorry to announce that Sonia Crayford has passed away at the age of 94. Sonia was well known for selling raffle tickets for us at the ground. She was active at the ground selling her tickets up to a couple of months ago. Sonia will be missed. We send condolences to her family and friends.
New Manager: Aslan’s replacement is Chris Lynch who is currently Head of Youth Development at Dover FC Youth Section, where he is held in high regard having built the highly successful Youth Development Program. Chris impressed the committee with his knowledge and vision for the club. Chris is a qualified UEFA & FA Licensed coach who began his career at Dover/Whitstable and in his time with them represented Kent. He had trials with Luton in 1996 and then went on to Watford under Graham Taylor 3 years later. Both Manchester United and Aston Villa showed keen interest in Chris throughout the 90's, however a serious accident put paid to his playing career. Although having previous managerial experience, this is Chris’s first managerial position at this level.
Aslan Odev. Following a Board meeting of Sittingbourne Football Club, manager, Aslan Odev, offered his resignation and this was accepted.
Sittingbourne Football Club would like to put on record their appreciation for all the hard work he has done during his time with us.
Secretary, John Pitts, said that Aslan is a good coach and a pleasure to work with. He worked tirelessly to improve results.
The club wishes Aslan good luck in the future.
Player movements: Henry Woods and Danny Devine's loan from Gillingham has been extended. David Smith's loan is at an end. Ira Jackson, Bola Dawodu and Dan Parkinson have all left. We would like to thank them for their efforts this season.
